Constructed from robust aluminum alloy, the cage maintains a minimal weight—just 4.9 oz when set up as an L-bracket, and 6.7 oz in its full assembly. Securing the cage is straightforward: the bottom plate mounts directly to the camera using a 1/4"-20 screw, while the top plate connects to the bottom at two points and locks into an additional position on the ZR itself for enhanced safety and stability. The front of the baseplate is equipped with two M3 threads designed to support Tilta’s optional ARRI PL-mount lens adapter.
