The Zacuto Gorilla Plate V2 is a small camera mounting plate for small DSLR and mirrorless cameras. The plate provides mounting points for available Z-Finder mounting frames allowing you to attach a Zacuto Z-Finder to a camera such as the Panasonic GH3. Additional frame options allows the Z-Finder to be attached to a variety of DSLR cameras. The Gorilla plate features a rubberised top to provide good grip and prevent the camera from twisting on the plate. The 1/4"-20 camera mounting screw is captive, so you don't have to worry about it falling out when you remove the camera.
The Gorilla Plate V2 also features three 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes for attaching it to a tripod or QR plate. The tripod mounting holes are off centre, and if you need a centred tripod mounting hole, for use with some support rigs and matteboxes, you will need to purchase an available Zacuto Gorilla Plate Adapter. The Gorilla Plate V2 incorporates a vertical 15mm diameter rod port that can be used to clamp onto a 15mm rod, for use with various available camera support systems that feature a 15mm diameter vertical camera support rod. The clamping lever is ratcheting style, so you can fully tighten or loosen the clamp even when you can't completely rotate the knob.
