This World Photography Day, we’ve teamed up with Peak Design ambassador and award-winning aerial photographer, Petra Leary, for an evening talk exploring the art of aerial photography and the best gear for the job.

Petra will take you through her photographic journey; sharing her approach to creating uniquely abstract images through the use of colour, form, symmetry and simplicity.

The Peak Design team will be there to showcase the perfect gear you'll need for your next adventure, including the popular Travel Tripod and recently released V2 bags! Plus, there'll be a Peak Design Everyday Sling V2 up for grabs for one lucky attendee!

The talk will be followed by a Q&A session with Petra and the Peak Design team, as well as a chance to try out the new Peak Design range, so be sure to bring your gear along!

Meet Petra

Petra Leary is an award-winning New Zealand born aerial photographer. Her ability to capture her subjects from unique perspectives is striking and groundbreaking.

She has an innate design sensibility, reflected in her unique process all the way from conception to post-production. An intrepid world traveller she hunts out unusual landscapes, captures them from unforeseen angles and manipulates and accentuates colours in post-production to create her final work.
