Make sure you enable the LDAC codec and download the AT Connect app to make sure it's running in LDAC. This turns these headphones in to what they should be when wireless. Using the default SBC or AAC codecs introduces a 'lot' of distortion to the mid-range of the audio, enough to make you wonder if they are faulty. Using LDAC, they are miles closer to sounding like wired only M50's. I find them more of an on ear rather than over ear - the pads aren't shaped for over ear like AKG's or Sony MDR-7506's. If MDR-7506's came in wireless for the comfort factor, they would be all I ever use. However they don't, so these are definitely my choice for wireless. The app even comes with standard, or 5 band PEQ so you can set the frequency and Q factor when calibrating them (this is important for me, I work on HD audio broadcast processing).
