The Avantone MixCube Full-Range Mini Reference Monitor is specifically designed for professional studio use, offering a narrow frequency range of 90 Hz to 17 kHz. Despite the prevalence of high-definition media, it remains crucial for music producers to ensure that their mixes sound accurate on both low-fidelity devices like laptops and smartphones, as well as high-fidelity audio systems. By focusing on mid-frequency referencing, the MixCube allows engineers to leave bass and high-frequency referencing to larger monitoring systems.
This passive reference monitor can handle up to 200 watts (8Ω) from an external amplifier. It features a 5.25" driver housed in an attractive MDF cabinet with a vintage cream finish. The input connector includes 3-way COE rated plastic-encased metal binding posts that are compatible with various types of wire connections. With its compact size, the MixCube can be easily placed in any studio setup.
