The Behringer NEKKST K5 Bi-Amped 5" Studio Monitor is a bi-amped, powered studio monitor designed for critical listening in a mixing environment. It features a 1" tweeter, a 5" woofer, a frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz, a maximum SPL of 100 dB, and a fixed crossover at 3.2 kHz.
For inputs, this monitor provides an XLR connection point, as well as a 1/4" TRS balanced and an RCA unbalanced termination. It features switchable low, midrange, and high EQs on the back for help in tailoring the monitor to your specific room environment, as well as a variable input trim. It allows for a maximum output-power-handling at 150W, and works quite comfortably at 100W.
Its proprietary waveguide technology aims to provide acoustic dispersion and a large sweet spot for accurate monitoring, while its bi-amped Class-D designed allows for separate powering of the tweeter and woofer to preserve your signal's integrity. All of this contained in a high-density composite enclosure for low diffraction and reduced low-frequency distortion.
