The Blackmagic Design Streaming Encoder HD is a powerful, self-contained streaming device that supports H.264 and H.265 encoding via SRT or RTMP. It enables direct streaming to a wide range of platforms and applications, including Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, Restream.IO, Vimeo, Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams, OBS Studio, VLC, and more.
Streaming can be done through the built-in RJ45 Ethernet port (10/100/1000BASE-T) or via USB-C tethering to high-speed 4G/5G smartphones. The encoder features 12G-SDI input for resolutions up to UHD 4K60, a 3G-SDI loop output, and both SDI and HDMI monitor outputs.
A built-in 2.2" LCD screen provides live monitoring of video, audio, system status, and menu settings. The rear USB-C port also allows the device to function as a webcam. Tactile control is offered through six front-panel buttons and a spin knob. Power options include 100–240 VAC and 12 VDC via a 4-pin XLR input.
