The Blackmagic Design Teranex Mini IP Video 12G is an encoder/decoder that supports TICO encoding for high-quality video transmission over Ethernet. With a compact size, it is ideal for use in portable racks at live events or broadcast trucks. Each end requires one unit, and multiple units can be used on the same network. Control is done through a Mac or Windows computer using the included Blackmagic Video Hub software.
The unit supports up to 1080p60 over a Gigabit Ethernet LAN, but higher data rates are possible with an optional 10G optical Ethernet connector. It has a single 12G-SDI input, two 12G-SDI outputs, a Gigabit Ethernet connector, and a slot for an optional 10G SFP. For local setup and control, an optional Smart Front Panel with an LCD display is available. It can be installed easily in an optional 1 RU 19" rack tray, with up to three units fitting. Additionally, it features a built-in power supply compatible with 90-240V, and a standard IEC power cable is required (sold separately).
