Description

Offering 6K30 full-frame capture with a compact design, the Canon EOS C80 6K Full-Frame Cinema Camera combines the sensor of the EOS C400 and the lightweight build of the EOS C70. This camera is perfect for fast-paced shooting and solo operators. It features triple ISO bases of 800, 3200, and 12,800 in log/raw, upgraded autofocus with Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, and simultaneous 12G-SDI and HDMI video output. The RF mount of the EOS C80 is compatible with Canon RF lenses, and it also has a motorised ND filter wheel for on-the-fly exposure adjustments.

The C80 camera is equipped with a 6K full-frame CMOS sensor that provides low noise, increased sensitivity efficiency, and improved 4K imagery through oversampling. This is made possible by the back-illuminated, stacked CMOS sensor's enhanced light capture technology.

To enhance post-production flexibility, the C80 offers Canon's Log 2 and Log 3 gamma modes, which deliver an expanded dynamic range and excellent tonal reproduction for highlights and low-light areas. Additionally, this camera supports 3D LUTs for accurate color reproduction on the LCD and external monitors.
