The DJI Focus Pro LiDAR unit is designed to enhance the autofocus capabilities of the RS 3 Pro and RS 4 Pro gimbal stabilisers. With its 76,800 ranging points, 30 Hz refresh rate, and 65.6' maximum detection area, this rangefinder unit simplifies focusing on moving objects for solo cinematographers. It is compatible with both wide-angle and telephoto lens configurations.
Equipped with a built-in camera that has a 30mm focal length and 70° field of view, the unit ensures precise focus. Users can easily switch between wide-angle, telephoto, and focus spot modes to adapt to different shooting requirements. When paired with the RS 4 Pro gimbal, the ActiveTrack Pro feature is activated, resulting in better recognition and tracking performance, especially with multiple or distant subjects. Furthermore, it works seamlessly with the Focus Pro Motor to deliver accurate cinema-style autofocus.
The LiDAR unit can be conveniently mounted on the RS 3 or 4 Pro series gimbal or camera using a cold shoe or 1/4"-20 thread. It is powered via a USB-C power cable.
