The DPA 4011ER Cardioid Microphone with Active Rear Cable is designed for capturing audio. It can be used with vocals, close miking instruments, amplifier cabinets, and similar sources in live sound reinforcement and recording applications. The microphone features a cardioid condenser element for minimising off-axis noise in spot-miking applications, allowing for use in close-miking scenarios and to minimise bleed from other instruments. The 4011ER is powered by 48V of phantom power and offers a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. It is capable of handling high SPLs without distortion and uses an MMP preamp with a 12mm XLR cable. A foam windscreen and SM4000-C suspension mount are included.
