Description
The brown d:Screet Necklace Microphone 53cm Length and XLR Adapter Connector from DPA Microphones is for capturing audio. It is used in various audio applications where convenient mounting and consistent output are required to capture performances such as in stage plays, reality TV show settings and more. It features a 4061 miniature omnidirectional condenser microphone capsule and has a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz. The microphone is built with a soft rubber necklace offering fast, repeatable and do-it-yourself mounting.
The necklace microphone is built with a 3.6' cable that terminates in a MicroDot connector. This mic includes a high boost protection grid to allow you to acoustically modify the microphones response. There is an optional soft boost grid that can be purchased separately. The response will vary according to the placement of each grid. The 4061 omnidirectional miniature microphone capsule has a low noise floor and can handle high SPLs. A high boost protection grid and durable cardboard carry box are included.

Omnidirectional Pattern
The omnidirectional condenser mic polar-pattern does not need to be aimed directly at the sound source when recording. This offers more detail and a natural sounding sonic character when recording in various environments.
Different Protection Grids
The 4061 microphone is supplied with a removable dual-purpose high boost grid that serves to protect the capsule and provides a 10 dB bump at 12 kHz. For situations that call for less of a built in AEQ, a soft boost grid can be purchased separately as an accessory that adds a soft 3 dB boost at 8 to 20 kHz.
