The **** is a two channel unit with each channel comprised of a natural sounding "soft knee" vacuum tube compressor and an extremely low noise microphone preamplifier with switchable 48 volt phantom power. Accepts both line and mic level signals. A great combination of the 60's and today.
Microphone input gain may be adjusted from 0 to +60dB. 48V phantom power, 50Hz/100Hz high-pass filters and clip LED. Front-panel instrument input (1/4” jack) with EQ for direct (DI) instrument processing. Soft-knee tube compressor with variable threshold, attack, release and output gain. VU metering of gain-reduction and output levels. Side-chain access and side-chain listen. Individual +4dB and -10dB insert points. Balanced XLR input/output connectors.
