With its sleek, modernised casing and reduced form factor, Elinchrom introduces the powerful ELB 1200. The pack's good looks and convenience features are backed by high performance. Speed is the operative word. The pack can deliver its 1200Ws symmetrically or asymmetrically in 1/10 or 1 stop increments with 8.5 stops of power variability from 7 to 1200Ws. There are three flash modes: Eco, Default and Fast, and the pack recycles to full power in 1.7 seconds in Fast Mode. Flash duration is an action-stopping 1/8850 second at 33% power with the optional Action Flash Head.
The Elinchrom Action head offers the fastest flash duration to freeze moving subjects with the normal flash sync shutter speed of your camera (1/200th a second) without the use of Hi-Sync technology. When shooting with a Hasselblad or shooting with a DSLR at the standard sync speed or below, you should use the Action heads.
The EL Skyport Transmitter Plus latest evolution of EL-Skyport wireless radio triggers. Sixteen channels are available: 8 in Normal and 8 in Speed mode, with 4 discrete groups for different or sequentially triggered lighting setups at distances up to 656'. Channels 1, 3, and 7 are compatible with all enabled EL-Skyport units while channels 1, 3, 7, 9, 12, 15, 18, and 20 are only compatible with the ELC Pro HD flash head and the ELB 400 battery pack system. A 2.5mm sync socket extends the transmitter's versatility to cameras without hot shoes or for hard-wired flash units. The EL-Skyport Transmitter Plus runs on easily sourced AA batteries.
The ProTec Location Bag made out of durable nylon and YKK zippers, this is the ideal solution to fit portable flash such as the ELB 400 or previous Quadra series. Supplied with rain protective cover, adjustable and comfortable shoulder strap, 4 vertical and 4 horizontal dividers for exibility and 4 velcro straps to securely attach tripods or umbrellas.
