Use these Filmsticks Clappersticks (Medium) when shooting double- or single-system sound to create a visual and audible sync point. The all-weather construction allows you to use the sticks for interior and exterior shots, and the 27.9 cm length makes the sticks suitable for wide to medium shots. The bottom of the sticks has a 3.2 mm groove that allows you to insert and remove the Filmsticks medium-size marker board, as well as select third-party marker boards (not included).
The sticks feature a black and white pattern that provides a clear visual indication that the sticks have "banged" shut. In addition, a tongue-and-groove design prevents light leaks between the top and bottom of the sticks when they are closed, leaving no doubt that the sticks are closed. The groove can also hold the tip of a tape measure for manually measuring distances.
