Drawing from real-world feedback and lessons learned from our original ARCA receiver, the Kondor Blue Arca Swiss Receiver Camera Plate (V2) (Raven Black) has been redesigned from the ground up to provide greater strength, improved usability, and seamless integration with modern camera rigs. Every dimension, interface, and mechanical detail was engineered with long-term reliability and workflow efficiency in mind.
At the core of the design is our commitment to captive hardware. Both the clamping mechanism and adjustment knob are fully retained within the assembly, reducing the risk of lost parts during transport, rig builds, or production use. The receiver opens wide enough to accommodate a broad range of ARCA configurations while maintaining controlled movement and positive engagement throughout the clamping process.
The MkII also incorporates KONDOR BLUE’s proven dovetail-guided clamping architecture. Rather than relying on traditional rod-guided systems, the moving clamp rides along a precision dovetail track that helps prevent binding while distributing clamping force evenly. The result is smoother operation, stronger engagement, and increased confidence when mounting valuable camera equipment and accessories.
Beyond camera mounting, the ARCA Receiver MkII serves as a versatile platform for building modular rigs. Dual mounting points support secure two-bolt attachment of tripod plates, while integrated anti-twist pin compatibility helps lock accessories firmly in place. A dedicated front mounting interface expands compatibility with products like the Mini-L Pivot Bracket, enabling compact power solutions and rapid transitions between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups. Whether mounted to a camera, support system, or heavy accessory, the ARCA Receiver MkII provides a robust foundation for countless rigging configurations.
