The Laowa Proteus 2x Anamorphic 100mm T2 Lens is a compact anamorphic lens designed for capturing high-definition video on cameras with S35+ sensors. With a focal length of 100mm and interchangeable PL and EF mounts, this lens provides a 2x anamorphic squeeze for a vintage, cinema-style anamorphic look. It has an aperture range of T2 to T22, allowing for deep depth of field, as well as 10 iris blades for a shallow depth of field and soft bokeh. Additionally, the Proteus lens can cover a full-frame sensor with the optional 1.4x full-frame expander adapter.
Featuring a minimum focus distance of 39", this prime lens offers anamorphic qualities such as high contrast, blue lens flares, and a 29.1° horizontal field of view. It is equipped with measurement markings in feet, 0.8 MOD cine gears on the focus and aperture rings, a 114mm front diameter, and a 105mm filter thread. The package includes PL and EF mounts, a hard case, a support foot, and a tool kit.
