The Mackie SRT215 Two-Way 15" 1600W Powered Portable PA Speaker with DSP and Bluetooth is a portable and user-friendly 15" powered PA speaker, boasting a power output of 1600W. It is suitable for various applications and can serve as a main PA in multiple positions, offering coverage for audiences of up to 250 people. The speaker features onboard DSP processing, a 4-input mixer, and an LCD interface with presets, ensuring that presenters, musicians, instructors, performers, and A/V providers can easily achieve powerful and clear sound.
By using the SRT Connect App, users can wirelessly control all adjustment settings, including AEQ, levels, and presets. Furthermore, two SRT speakers can be linked together for music streaming purposes, allowing for complete control over both speakers and the choice between stereo or dual zone linking modes.
With 90 x 60° coverage and a continuous SPL of 133 dB, the SRT215 is capable of providing ample volume for smaller venues such as houses of worship, conference centres, performance spaces, and meeting rooms. Its highly efficient 1600W amplifier powers the horn-loaded high-frequency driver and 15" woofer, delivering detailed and crisp sound across a wide frequency range from 20 kHz down to 42 Hz.
The back of the speaker offers three independent inputs. Inputs 1 and 2 feature combo XLR-1/4" connectors and can accommodate microphone, line, or Hi-Z level input. Inputs 3/4, on the other hand, come with a stereo 3.5mm TRS auxiliary input for connecting portable audio devices like phones and MP3 players.
Each input has its own gain control, allowing the speaker to function as a 3-channel mixer. This feature enables users to combine two microphones for presentations or a mic, instrument, and backing tracks for singer/songwriter gigs. Additionally, the SRT Series PA speakers can be used as floor monitors, providing added versatility.
Inputs 1 and 2 also offer XLR Thru-Outputs for daisy-chaining to additional speakers or other audio equipment. All three mono inputs are internally mixed to a mono signal and passed through the Mix Out XLR connector. To achieve true stereo L/R operation, two SRT215s are required, with each speaker receiving independent left and right signals, respectively.
