This top-of-the-line Manfrotto 490 ball-head features a strong die-cast aluminum housing plus an exceptionally hard, tough, phenolic resin ball that moves smoothly into position. Separate locks on 360° pan and +90°-90° tilt movements, with an additional friction control on the ball movement, gives just the right resistance and smoothness with minimum effort, even when varying weights of equipment. A calibration scale is also included at the base of the head. Suitable for any camera format up to 8x10".
