The Marshall Electronics CV355-10X 2.1MP 3G/HD-SDI/HDMI Compact Camera With 10x Zoom provides HD video capture in a small form factor suitable for broadcast, live event, sports, educational, and house-of-worship applications. This versatile camera features a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor, a built-in 10x optical zoom lens, stereo audio embedding, and simultaneous 3G/HD-SDI and HDMI output. HD video is captured at rates up to 1080p 60/59.94/50/30/25/24/23.98 and 1080i 60/59.94/50 via SDI or HDMI.
With a minimum illumination of 0.1 lux in day/colour or 0.01 lux in night/B&W mode, the CV355-10X camera can function as a security camera, or it can be used in teleconferencing in low-light situations. It features 3D-DNR (digital noise reduction), digital image stabilisation, motion detection, and privacy masking, which make this camera a flexible option for capturing intrusions into sensitive areas. The auto white balance function helps deliver normal looking video under changing conditions. Menu settings are available via an OSD that is actuated by a joystick on the back of the camera. Zoom, focus, and iris can all be adjusted and matched remotely via the RS-485 connector using Sony-VISCA, and Pelco-P/D protocols.
