The Mitakon Zhongyi Lens Turbo Adapter V2 for Full-Frame Micro Four Third Lens to Fujifilm X Camera enables the mounting of a full-frame M42 lens onto a Fujifilm X mount camera. By doing so, this adapter simulates the lens's angle of view as if it were directly attached to a full-frame sensor camera, while also providing a 1-stop increase in aperture range.

When connecting a lens intended for 35mm film or similar "full-frame" cameras to a camera with an APS-C sized sensor, the projected image would be larger than what the smaller sensor is designed to capture. This results in a narrowed effective angle of view and a "crop factor". The Lens Turbo Adapter V2 for full-frame M42 Mount Lens to Fujifilm X Mount APS-C Camera takes the light from a lens designed for 35mm film or "full-frame" cameras and projects it onto the APS-C sensor. This allows the sensor to utilize more light, eliminating the crop factor and providing an additional 1 stop of light for each f/stop setting.

This adapter is constructed with aluminum and plastic, offering durability and lightweight design. The mounting rings are made of stainless steel to prevent wear-and-tear. Inside, there are four lens elements, including an extra-low dispersion element to reduce chromatic aberration.

When using the Lens Turbo Adapter V2 for full-frame M42 Mount Lens to Fujifilm X Mount APS-C Camera, a lens is securely attached using a push-button, side-locking knob. However, this adapter does not support electronic communication between the camera and lens. M42 mount lenses with aperture control rings can be used in manual mode with this adapter and a Fujifilm X mount APS-C camera to adjust the aperture settings.

Please note that not all M42 mount lenses are compatible with this adapter due to the extent to which rear optics extend beyond the lens mount. Lenses with rear optics extending more than 3mm past the lens mount are not recommended for use with the Lens Turbo Adapter V2 for full-frame M42 Mount Lens to Fujifilm X Mount APS-C Camera. Additionally, Blackmagic cinema cameras are not compatible.
