The PM57 from Rolls is a headphone tap with an on-board attenuation switch. A passive unit requiring no external power supply, this device will allow you to convert speaker-level signals to audio suitable for headphones. As such, you can use the PM57 to eliminate the necessity of ungainly wedges or speaker monitors. Simply loop in your power amp through its input, attenuate the signal as needed via the switch, connect your headphones, adjust the volume pot, and you're good to go.
A couple of other features worth noting: The PM57 boasts 1/4" inputs as well as a wired screw-terminal connection. The 1/4" jacks can accept both TRS stereo and TS mono termination points, and a mono/stereo switch will affect the signal of both sets of connections. Also, you can use stereo 1/4" and 3.5 mm headphones with this device.
