The MX396/C Boundary Microphone from Shure is capable of 0 to 180 degrees of coverage for excellent speech pick up between two people seated across from each other, or groups seated within the 180 degree range. The MX396/C is designed for capturing speeches in conference settings, education, telecommunication and more. The capsules feature cardioid polar patterns for maximum surface reflection and off-axis noise rejection. The mounting hardware allows for the attached (unterminated) cable to be side or bottom mounted. Also features are a Mute switch and Logic connections.
