The Artis 88-Key Stage Piano from Kurzweil features hundreds of preset sounds (including German Grand Piano) on-board ready to be played with 128 voice polyphony. Artis also includes the Kurzweil KB3 organ simulator (from the PC3 Series) designed to emulate classic tone wheel organs like the Hammond B3.
Its 88-key fully-weighted hammer action keyboard provides you with a piano-like feel without adding excessive weight to the instrument. Artis has 3 jacks on the rear panel for optional pedal controllers (sold separately)—two jacks for optional switch pedals that may be used to control two-state (i.e., on / off) parameters such as sustain, sostenuto, and mute zone and a third jack for an optional continuous control (or CC) pedal that may be used to control multi-state parameters such as volume or wah. In addition, Artis can also be used as a MIDI controller suitable for controlling additional sound modules and as input to a sequencer.
