I bought these Neumanns to get mixes that translated better. I had some reservations prior to ordering these. I'd heard they had poor bass response, were uncomfortable, leaked sound like a sieve and made music sound boring. Plus they were super expensive so if they didn't perform it would be an expensive mistake. I haven't tested the translation yet but on all other counts they exceed my expectations. Rubber Monkey were good enough to honour the price drop that occurred after I ordered them so they weren't even all that expensive. These headphones are great to wear and it's wonderful to have fun making music again. Recommended.
