The NiSi JetMag Pro 95mm Clamp-On Cine Lens-95MAG Adaptor Ring for Matte Box brings cinema lenses with a 95mm outer diameter into the NiSi JetMag Pro Matte Box and 95MAG magnetic filter system. Instead of screwing into a filter thread, it clamps around the front of the lens, gives it a JetMag Pro 95MAG magnetic mount for filters, and provides the dedicated ring the matte box locks onto. It is how one matte box crosses over from stills bodies to a full cine rig.
This ring is sized for cinema lenses with a 95mm outer diameter at the front of the barrel. Fit it to your cine glass and the lens joins the JetMag Pro Matte Box system, ready for 95MAG filters and professional light control on narrative, commercial, and documentary shoots alike.
The ring fits by the lens’s 95mm outer diameter rather than by a filter thread, clamping around the front of the barrel. That makes it the right choice for cine lenses on a rig, where a threaded step-up ring is not how you want to work. On 95MAG setups the order matters: clamp the matte box onto the ring first, then attach your filters. To take the matte box off, remove the filters first, then release the clamp.
Engraved For Matte Box, this is the dedicated cine ring for the NiSi JetMag Pro Matte Box. The matte box clamp-on mount locks onto it and holds firm, keeping the matte box square to the lens through fast-paced shooting. Unlike the standard JetMag Pro adaptor rings, it is made specifically to fit the matte box’s clamp-on mount, so the matte box sits stable and secure.
With the ring fitted, the 140g matte box adds serious flare control to your cine setup. Its matte interior absorbs reflections and holds contrast across the frame, while the removable carbon fiber top flag shades the front element from overhead sun and hard practical lighting.
The same matte box works across the thread adaptor rings for 67mm to 95mm stills lenses and this clamp-on ring for cinema lenses. Move from a mirrorless body to a cine rig without buying a second matte box, and with no loss of convenience or image quality.
Filters snap onto the 95MAG mount magnetically and come off just as fast, so you can react to changing light instead of fumbling with threads. The patented locking mechanism then holds the stack firmly, keeping filters secure in wind, spray, and hurried handovers, even with several filters mounted together.
Because it is a JetMag Pro 95MAG mount, the ring works with the full 95MAG filter range. Filmmakers can reach for VND or Black Mist, landscape and exterior shooters can stack ND and CPL, and creative shooters can add Black Magic Diffusion or Cross Screen 4x without changing hardware.
The matte box is supported by seven thread adaptor rings: 67mm, 72mm, 77mm, and 82mm to 82MAG, plus 82mm, 86mm, and 95mm to 95MAG. A 95mm Clamp-On Cine Lens ring adds cinema lenses with a 95mm outer diameter, so one matte box moves between stills bodies and cine rigs. Add a ring for each lens thread you shoot.
Whether you are shooting a commercial on a cine rig, filming a documentary scene into bright backlight, or moving between a stills body and a cinema lens on the same day, the NiSi JetMag Pro 95mm Clamp-On Cine Lens-95MAG Adaptor Ring for Matte Box connects your cine glass to JetMag Pro 95MAG filters and professional light control. Clamp it on, lock the matte box in place, and keep shooting.
