The lens barrel also prevents accidental retraction, otherwise known as lens creeping, with no torque adjusting ring, which is especially helpful when shooting upwards to capture birds or planes. To enable quicker zooming, the lens has the smallest rotation angle of 80˚ in its class – making it great for capturing fast moving objects at sporting events or wildlife situations.
