ORCA Magnetic Boom Pole Holder System

The ORCA Magnetic Boom Pole Holder System is designed for sound professionals working in the field. It enables quick attachment and detachment between the boom pole and the harness, light stand, or other device. The OR-117 mechanism allows the sound operator to work with both hands on the mixer when the boom pole is not needed while allowing the ability to switch back quickly to using the boom pole. The OR-117 mechanism is made out of a neoprene soft padded material with antifriction internal fabric and consists of two parts; one part wraps around the boom pole and the other part attaches to a harness strap, light stand, or other device. These components connect quickly via a magnetic “Fidlock” locking system buckle. The ”Fidlock” buckle is well secured when locked and can be released only when the user pulls the ”Fidlock” tab. The OR-117 is compact and lightweight (90 GR/0.2 lbs.), ensuring that it does not interfere with boom pole operation.
