This frame allows you to securely mount your camera to the prompter without the need for counterweights, streamlining your setup.
Flexible Adjustments and Transport
With adjustable height and angle settings, the 60/40 beamsplitter glass can be fine-tuned for perfect centering and optimal viewing angles based on the presenter’s position. The design also supports quick folding of the glass for easier transport and storage. The removable camera rail is a convenient feature, making it simple to pack the unit into an optional hard case when needed. Whether mounting the entire assembly to your tripod in the traditional manner or choosing to separate the prompter and camera (using the optional FreeStanding kit), you have flexible placement options for a variety of production environments.
Advanced Software Integration
The included Flip-Q Pro software brings enhanced teleprompting functions. Utilizing a dual screen scrolling engine, it reverses the output on a secondary PC or Mac display (for the teleprompter monitor) while keeping the operator’s primary display in the correct orientation. This makes it possible to use standard, non-reversing VGA displays without loss of functionality or performance. The software’s text editing capabilities support RTF and TXT file imports and incorporate a range of formatting options, such as colored backgrounds, font color and size customization, black or white fonts, user-selected cue points, and the use of run lists. Features like "run from selected cursor" and a selectable cue marker further streamline production.
Portable and Versatile Use
Flip-Q Pro is supplied on a USB dongle, allowing the software to be used on multiple computers. By simply plugging the dongle into the desired computer, you can easily transfer your teleprompting setup across different systems, ensuring maximum flexibility whether you’re in the studio or on location.
