The Schoeps AK SU/2U Cable for Stereo Microphones is designed to be used with stereo microphones such as MSTC 64 Ug (ORTF), KFM 6, KFM 360 (sphere microphones), and CMXY 4V Ug (X/Y microphone). This cable serves the purpose of converting a stereo XLR-5F jack to two XLR-3M plugs.
By using this adapter cable in combination with its inverse counterpart, the AK 2U/SU (2 x XLR-3F to XLR-5M), and an XLR-5 extension cable, it becomes possible to simplify a stereo setup by using just one cable.
