With the ability to withstand continuous operation 24/7, equivalent to 8760 hours per year, this 8TB drive features a SATA III 6 Gb/s interface, 7200 rpm rotational speed, 3.5" form factor, and 256MB cache. Users can expect generous storage capacity along with data transfer speeds of up to 255 MB/s. The IronWolf Pro boasts an MTBF rating of 2 million hours and supports a workload rate of up to 550TB per year. Seagate's AgileArray technology ensures enhanced RAID performance through features like dual-plane balancing, time-limited error recovery (TLER), and rotational vibration (RV) sensors. Moreover, this HDD includes a limited 3-year Data Recovery Service to assist in retrieving damaged data caused by mechanical errors, accidents, or natural disasters.
