The SmallRig 5398 5" Electric Suction Cup Mount is an all-in-one professional suction cup mount kit designed for vehicle shooting, integrating automatic attachment, real-time monitoring, and multiple interfaces into one system. This kit includes an electric suction cup, a ball-head magic arm, and a safety tether.
The suction cup features a high-performance motor that responds in under 100 milliseconds for rapid attachment. Its built-in pressure monitoring module continuously checks seal integrity, automatically repressurizing when pressure drops below 75% to ensure secure adhesion.
Equipped with a built-in 2000mAh battery, the suction cup supports QC fast charging (5V/2A via USB-C) and reaches full charge in just 45 minutes, providing up to 30 hours of continuous operation.
Constructed primarily from durable nitrile rubber, the suction cup maintains excellent sealing performance across extreme temperatures (-25°C to 60°C / -13°F to 140°F) without deformation. It offers strong adhesion, supporting vertical / side mounting up to 40kg (88lb) and horizontal mounting up to 60kg (132lb). For vehicle use, we recommend pairing it with the included safety tether, avoiding loads exceeding 5kg (11lb), keeping vehicle speeds below 80 km/h (50 mph), and steering clear of bumpy roads. Additionally, it’s advisable to check adhesion every two hours.
The aluminum alloy mounting base features multiple interfaces, including anti-twist 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes, as well as 3/8"-16 ARRI locating holes, allowing for the attachment of magic arms for versatile expansion options. In addition, a protective dust cover is included to maintain the cleanliness and lifespan of the suction cup when not in use.
