The SmallRig 5908 Cage for Alpha 1 II & Alpha 9 III with Vertical Grip VG-C5 is designed to provide robust protection and versatile mounting options for your camera. It is securely mounted using a 1/4"-20 screw at the bottom and two M2.5 screws on the sides, with integrated silicone pads to prevent scratches. The cage maintains full access to all camera buttons, ports, card slots, and the battery compartment.
The cage offers extensive mounting options, including 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes, as well as ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes for attaching accessories such as top handles (ID4757,3765), side handles (ID4015,4346), monitor mounts (ID2903B,2904B), and magic arms (ID3873). Two built-in cold shoe mounts allow for the attachment of microphones or video lights (ID4660).
The base features an integrated Arca-Swiss quick-release plate for seamless compatibility with DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilizers, enabling quick transitions between handheld, stabilizer, and tripod setups. A front 1/4"-20 locating hole is compatible with single rod clamps (ID3276) for attaching 15mm rods and supporting accessories like follow focus systems.
Additionally, the cage features a strap slot for wrist straps (ID3848,2456) and a QD socket for shoulder straps (ID4118B). A built-in double-head wrench at the bottom ensures effortless assembly and disassembly.
