The SmallRig 5950 Side Handle with 1/4''-20 Locating Screw is designed to enhance dynamic handheld shooting, delivering smooth movement and seamless control while providing versatile expansion options. It securely attaches to the side of camera cages using a 1/4"-20 locating screw for maximum stability.
Weighing only 143g / 5oz, its lightweight design minimizes fatigue during extended use. The ergonomic grip features a skin-friendly silicone coating for comfortable and stable handheld operation in various shooting environments. The handle supports both left and right-handed use and offers 43mm (1.7in) of vertical adjustment for optimal balance and grip positioning.
For expanded functionality, the handle features 1/4"-20 threaded holes for accessories like power bank holders (ID 2790) or magic arms (ID 2070B), along with built-in cold shoe mounts for attaching monitor mounts (ID 2905B), LED lights (ID 3286B), and microphones (ID 3468), enabling a streamlined and efficient workflow. Multiple strap holes allow for the attachment of a wrist strap to prevent accidental drops.
Additionally, a magnetic Allen wrench is included for easy assembly and quick adjustments.
