The SmallRig 6024 "HawkLock" Quick Release Cage for Sony Alpha 7 V / 7R V / 7 IV is engineered to provide robust protection and versatile mounting options for your camera. The cage utilizes a three-point locking system for secure mounting without deflection. Built-in pads offer comprehensive protection and prevent scratches, while precision cutouts ensure unobstructed access to camera ports, dials, buttons, and the battery compartment.
Multiple mounting points are incorporated, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, and a "HawkLock" NATO rail for quick attachment of accessories like side handles (ID4485) and top handles (ID4483). A built-in cold shoe mount allows for attaching devices like the DJI Mic 2 and lights, while a QD socket at the base accommodates shoulder straps for enhanced portability.
Additionally, the bottom quick release plate, paired with the "HawkLock" H38 Arca-Swiss quick release mount plate (ID4486), enables rapid slide-in attachment with an auto-locking mechanism. The base is also equipped with a magnetic Allen wrench for easy assembly and disassembly. The integrated Arca-Swiss quick release plate at the bottom enables seamless transitions between handheld, tripod, and gimbal setups (compatible with Arca-type tripods and DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 Mini / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 Mini / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilizers).
Furthermore, a hinged door at the battery compartment adds grip support for the little finger, while the included HDMI cable clamp secures the cable for stable data transmission.
Note: After fastening the base 1/4"-20 screw, remove the anti-twist locating pins from the storage hole at the battery compartment and secure them in the designated position.
