This SmallRig Camera Cage for Canon EOS R5 and R6 provides protection for the camera and a wide range of accessories mounting points. It is secured to a camera via one 1/4"-20 screw and two locating pins, with silicone cushions on the top and bottom to prevent scratches.
The cage features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes for attaching such accessories as handles and arms. Its left side can support a cable clamp; its top comes with a cold shoe mount for microphones and LED lights. ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes on the top and left and right sides fit SmallRig ARRI top and side handles. Holes on both sides and the bottom suit can suit a hand, shoulder, or wrist strap.
The built-in spanner removes bottom screws and can be slid out from the side without interfering with the attachment of a quick release plate. The right-hand side is designed to fit the camera handle for the original and comfortable grip feeling. In addition, the cage’s bottom Arca-type quick release plate and 1/4"-20 threaded holes allow connecting the original DJI RS2/RSC2 Arca-type plate, which can be mounted onto DJI RS2/RSC2 Manfrotto quick release plate and then onto the stabiliser.
