When transmitting audio over shielded Ethernet cable, consider using the SoundTools WallCAT FX-S Wall Plate. This wall plate features four female XLR terminals on the front and two Ethernet terminals on the back, allowing for the transmission of audio over Ethernet for extended cable lengths. With channel isolation capabilities, you can also simultaneously send a DMX signal and balanced audio. Designed for compatibility with standard electrical junction boxes, this double-gang wall plate only requires a depth of 1.2".
