Description

Cubase Pro 8.5 from Steinberg is a healthy update to the company's top-tier audio software, making it even more relevant to professional producers, mixing engineers, and composers. Transport and recording workflow, mixing and track handling, MIDI editing, have all been enhanced, along with the Chord Pads and symbols functions. Locating audio resources has also become easier with the introduction of MediaBay Racks.

The virtual analogue synthesiser, Retrologue 2 takes on an additional third oscillator, new polyphonic LFOs, and an additional envelope. The flexible arpeggiator and five brand-new effects, including the three-band Resonator, open up new possibilities for the over-four-hundred fresh presets that show off the instrument.

For production workflows being shared between musicians or band members, VST Transit reaches into the cloud to provide a DAW-centric approach to web-based musical collaboration.
