The Strut STR-DR70D Field Case is designed specifically to house the Tascam DR-70D field recorder. The case provides full access to all of the unit's controls and connections while protecting the electronics from weather and dust. A lightweight adjustable chest harness allows for convenient hands-free operation and comfort without adding unnecessary weight or bulk to the rig.
The case features a clear vinyl cover to protect from dust and rain. The cover can roll out of the way when required. Battery changes are easy and the case includes a pocket and cabling options for the Tascam BP-6AA battery pack. A "connection protection" feature helps seal out dust and moisture while securing and controlling XLR cables. The bottom 1/4"-20 mounting threads of the device are accessible which allows the recorder to be mounted on a stand or in a rig next to the camera. The bag is made of 1000D coated Cordura and only weighs 99.2 g.
