Description

The Symply PRO XTH Half Height Archiving Drive is built with a durable and attractive metal alloy case. It features a premium fan and power supply, ensuring long-lasting and trouble-free use for data backup and archiving. Equipped with 2 Thunderbolt 3 connections, this model allows for daisy chaining and device charging. Additionally, it offers SAS Expansion and SAS Host connections for connecting other SAS devices to a Thunderbolt computer or non-Thunderbolt compatible workstation.

This SymplyPRO LTO-XTH is available with an LTO-9 removable tape drive. It utilizes SymplyCABLELESS technology for effortless maintenance and upgrades, with impressive performance of up to 300 MB/sec per tape drive. It is fully compatible with LTFS, WORM Media, and 256-bit encryption. The tape drive operates quietly with the help of a premium Noctua fan and an internal automatically switching power supply.

The SymplyPRO LTO-XTH supports the Linear Tape File System (LTFS), which allows for easy drag and drop file management, similar to a conventional hard drive. This eliminates the need for additional backup or archive software and enables easy data exchange between LTO cartridges and hard drives or SSDs.

To assist with tape management and operations, SymplyATOM has been developed. It is a user-friendly toolset that provides novice and power users with equal access to essential features needed for daily tape operations. SymplyATOM offers troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities, as well as contextual help and assistance tools. It is designed to work seamlessly with the SymplyLTO product family and supports tasks such as reading and writing LTFS LTO Tapes, diagnostic checking, and collecting and updating firmware log files. SymplyATOM is compatible with macOS and Windows OS.

Certified for use with popular backup and archive utilities for both macOS and Windows, the SymplyPRO LTO-XTH can be used with YoYotta, Hedge Canister, XenData, and Archiware P5, among others.
