The Symply XTH Half Height Archiving Drive Upgrade is a Half Height Drive upgrade for Desktop XTH enclosures.
The Symply XTH Desktop SAS, SymplyPRO LTO XTH, SymplyDIT LTO XTH and the SymplyPRO LTO 1RU and 2RU systems all ship with one LTO drive as standard. These can either be LTO-7 or LTO-8 Half Height drives, or the latest LTO-9 Full Height drive. All of these products can be easily upgraded with a second LTO drive using the unique SymplyCableLess technology.
SymplyCableLess is a cable free backplane design that not only eliminates cable, crimp connector and vibration failures, but allows fast and simple insertion and removal of LTO drives, for upgrade, transport and easier serviceability. This advanced design is implemented in all their Rack-mounted and dual-drive desktop systems.
