A simple filter for protection, the 105mm Clear Uncoated Filter from Tiffen guards the front of your lens from dust, scratches, dirt, moisture, and other elements. As a clear filter, it does not impart any effects onto the image.
This filter is made using ColorCore technology; a process that involves grinding optical glass flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch and then mounting to precision metal rings. The coarse thread version of the filter has a thread pitch of 1.0.
