The modular design also allows the full cage to be disassembled into a Half Cage when needed. The cage supports comfortable vertical configurations by allowing users to attach handles via 1/4"-20 threads, making it ideal for two-handed builds that improve control when shooting in portrait orientation. The bottom of the cage also features a white label area for noting the camera body, and the included cable clamp helps secure connected cables while ensuring stable HDMI signal transmission.
Adjustable ARCA Receiver and Battery Plate
Also included in this kit are the Adjustable ARCA Receiver and Mini PD Battery Plate, which provide a unique and lightweight way to mount a battery plate without traditional baseplates and 15 mm rods.
The receiver can extend to position the battery plate closer to or farther from the camera body, while a swivel hinge allows users to adjust the angle of the battery relative to the camera body.
Power and Mounting Flexibility
The battery plate allows users to extend the operating time of their camera and accessories with higher-capacity V-Mount batteries. It features multiple power output options, including 60 W PD USB-C, P-Tap, and a 2-pin Lemo connection.
Unique to this plate are the integrated strap slots, which allow users to connect the included security strap to their V-Mount battery and reduce the risk of accidental disconnection. The battery plate also features 1/4"-20 and M4 threads on the top, allowing the unit to be mounted in creative ways using additional adapters or articulating arms.
