The foundation of the Tilta Full Camera Cage for Sony a1 II & a9 III is the full camera cage which provides additional protection for the camera body while expanding mounting options for various accessories.
The Full Cage features a Cold Shoe Receiver, M3 Threads, 1/4″-20 Threads with Locating Points and a 3/8″-16 to 1/4″-20 Thread Adapter.
This cage features a modular design that allows users to easily transition from a full cage to a half cage by removing a few screws. The included HDMI Cable Clamps ensure an HDMI Cable used with either camera body will remain secure.
Included in this kit is the XENO Top Handle which mounts via a 1/4″-20 screw on the top of the cage and utilizes locating pins to stay secure. This Top Handle improves flexibility for shooting and handling the system , which is especially useful for lower angles.
The Top Handle also expands mounting options for accessories via additional 1/4″-20 threads and a Cold Shoe Receiver, perfect for an external monitor via our Cold Shoe Accessory Bracket. (not included)
The included 15mm Baseplate allows users to utilize the included 15mm rods to mount various accessories. The adjustable height design means users can maintain the LWS 85mm standard between their rods and the center of their sensor in order to ensure compatibility with a range of various accessories,
The distance from the center of the rods to the Arca receiver ranges from 18mm to 38mm and is compatible with DJI standard Arca plates. The bottom of the baseplate is compatible with Tilta Standard Dovetails and also features 1/4″-20 threads for mounting to tripods and other support systems.
Also included is an ergonomic Wooden Handle which mounts via 1/4″-20 with locating pins and provides additional comfort when operating or handling the camera. The Release Button on the side of the mount allows users to easily adjust the angle of the handle to achieve the perfect operating position as well as to re-position quickly when adjusting for different shots.
