The foundation of the Tilta Full Camera Cage for Sony a1 II/a9 III with Base Kit is the full camera cage which provides additional protection for the camera body while expanding mounting options for various accessories.
The Full Cage features a Cold Shoe Receiver, M3 Threads, 1/4″-20 Threads with Locating Points and a 3/8″-16 to 1/4″-20 Thread Adapter.
This cage features a modular design that allows users to easily transition from a full cage to a half cage by removing a few screws. The included HDMI Cable Clamps ensure an HDMI Cable used with either camera body will remain secure.
Included in this kit is the XENO Top Handle which mounts via a 1/4″-20 screw on the top of the cage and utilizes locating pins to stay secure. This Top Handle improves flexibility for shooting and handling the system , which is especially useful for lower angles.
The Top Handle also expands mounting options for accessories via additional 1/4″-20 threads and a Cold Shoe Receiver, perfect for an external monitor via our Cold Shoe Accessory Bracket. (not included)
