The TY-350 Telephoto Lens Support Plate from Sirui is an Arca-type compatible quick release plate specifically designed to provide a stable and steady platform for your camera body and telephoto lens. Conventional quick release plates have a single contact point, leaving your camera or lens unsupported. This is unstable and puts stress on the joint between the camera and lens.
The TY-350 has both 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screws to attach the lens foot, and an adjustable vertical support for the camera body takes the weight of the camera off the lens foot and provides an additional contact point, adding stability. The camera support has adjustment travel to accommodate a variety of DSLR camera body sizes and styles with a minimum height of 2.5cm above the rail to a maximum of 11cm. A quick release plate is included for the camera body to make it easier to put on and take off. Three long channels let you precisely centre the weight of the camera and lens over the head, ensuring your rig isn't front or rear heavy, adding even more stability.
