The Varavon 815 Big Tripod Set with Video Head, Sliding Balance Plate & Panhandle is a set of aluminium tripod legs and a fluid head that supports over 8kg of camera and accessories. The head features a sliding camera plate that is compatible with a Manfrotto 701 fluid head and includes a retractable locating pin, 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 camera tie-down screws. The sliding camera plate allows you to balance your camera on the head, and features a safety catch that can help prevent your camera from accidentally sliding out of the head with disastrous result.
The head features a 75mm ball that interfaces with the 75mm bowl fitting on the legs. This provides a wide support base for your camera and quick levelling without having to adjust the legs. The built-in bubble level helps confirm that the fluid head and shot is level. The incorporated dual panhandle rosettes, you can mount the included telescoping panhandle on either side of the head. The aluminium legs feature rotating locks and a mid-level spreader that allows you to use the tripod on rough terrain without the stability problems that can occur with ground level spreaders. The tripod legs have metal foot spikes for extra grip on soft surfaces, and the included rubber feet provide grip on for use on hard surfaces. The included carry case provides an internal strap, pocket, and a shoulder strap.
