Description

Engage targets from point-blank to medium range with the Vortex 1-8x24 Strike Eagle Riflescope, featuring an illuminated AR-BDC3 reticle that subtends with popular .223/5.56 cartridges, 3.5" eye relief, and a shock-resistant 30mm single-piece maintube. Fully multi-coated optics enable maximum light transmission, while reducing glare and ghost images when you're aiming at targets. The 1-8x24 Strike Eagle offers a 140 MOA windage and elevation range, and its low-profile capped turrets adjust impact point at 1/2 MOA per click.

Located in the second focal plane, the etched-on-glass, illuminated AR-BDC3 reticle will maintain the same size when you zoom. Subtensions for elevation, windage, and range are accurate at peak magnification. The waterproof and fogproof housing features a single-piece aluminium maintube with a hard-anodised matte black finish. The eyepiece has a quick magnification ring with a thread-in throw lever for fast zooming.

AR-BDC3 Reticle

The illuminated, glass-etched AR-BDC3 is specifically tuned to the ballistic performance of common 5.56 loads out of an AR-15. The 1 MOA center dot provides a precise point of aim while the surrounding 16.625 MOA broken circle gets your eye into the center faster for rapid target acquisition, and the BDC keeps you on target out to 650 yards.

Scale of reticle maintains the same ideally-sized appearance. Listed reticle subtensions used for estimating range, holdover and wind drift correction are accurate at the highest magnification.
