This teleprompter uses quality beamsplitter glass featuring a front mirror coating that allows 65% transmission and 35% reflection, combined with an anti-reflection coating on the rear to eliminate ghosting. As a result, presenters enjoy clear, easy-to-read text while the camera captures color-neutral images. The optical-grade glass is 0.12" thick, ensuring durability with premium clarity.
Wide Camera Compatibility
To maximize compatibility across camera types, the package includes three mount bases of varying heights: a 5.31" tall riser, a 2.06" short riser, and a 6.29" DSLR riser. This thoughtful inclusion supports a range of devices, including professional ENG cameras, cinema cameras, mirrorless cameras, and camcorders.
Versatile Monitor
The teleprompter’s monitor is equipped with HDMI, SDI, VGA, and Composite inputs. Boasting a native 1280 x 1024 resolution and a bright 1000 cd/m² display, it offers extensive on-screen display (OSD) adjustments for settings like brightness, contrast, backlight, tint, chroma, and sharpness, along with the ability to fine-tune RGB levels. Users can toggle between native 4:3, 16:9, full-screen, or auto aspect ratio modes to suit different production requirements. The wide 170° viewing angle ensures the presenter can read the script from nearly any position, while the image flip button allows for horizontal and vertical flipping. Integrated tally lights on the side and front cue the on-air status with green or red illumination when connected to a video switcher.
Easy to Balance
The improved teleprompter base features a sliding rail system, allowing the entire assembly to move forward or backwards for superior balance without the need for additional counterweights.
Updated Lens Hood
The revised adjustable lens hood is now anchored directly to the frame and secured with magnets, providing solid stability. Its wider opening accommodates larger lenses, offering even greater flexibility for various camera setups.
ikan Rolling Hard Case for PT4 Series Teleprompters
For secure transportation and storage, the waterproof Rolling Hard Case is built from high-strength resin, designed to endure extreme conditions. The case rolls on smooth in-line wheels, with a retractable handle and comfortable rubber grips for easy mobility. Interior foam cutouts (sold separately) are required to customize the case for your teleprompter. Trigger-release latches keep the case sealed, and stainless steel holes are provided for attaching padlocks for enhanced security.
