The Luminos 15mm Eyepiece (1.25") from Celestron offers a very pleasant 82° angular field of view. Retractable eyecups provide comfortable viewing for eyeglass wearers and when extended, shield stray external light from non-eyeglass wearers. This parfocal eyepiece needs little or no focusing when changing the magnification from a low to high power. It has threaded barrels to accept 1.25" Celestron thread-in filters. The polished, hard anodized aluminum barrel is scratch resistant and imparts a visual impression of high-tech sophistication. Surrounding the eyepiece is a rubber ring with finger indents that supply a slip-proof grip.
